HIPAA & Compliance
How we protect your patients' data
As your billing company we are a HIPAA business associate. Here is what that means in practice.
Business associate agreement, signed first
We sign your business associate agreement before we are given access to any protected health information. If your practice does not have one of its own, tell us and we will work through one with you. Nothing starts until it is signed.
Safeguards
What is in place on every account
We only list controls we operate today. As we add more, they will appear here.
HIPAA-trained staff
Everyone who works on your account completes HIPAA training before they are given access to it.
Access limited to your account team
Only the people assigned to your practice can reach your data. Nobody else on our team is given access.
Sharing records with us
Please do not send patient information through the contact form on this website or by ordinary email. During onboarding we agree a secure way to reach what we need, normally direct access to your own systems.
Questions from your compliance officer
If your practice needs more detail for its own risk assessment, email [email protected] and we will answer in writing.
Not sure where your revenue is leaking?
Book a free review. We will look at your recent claims, denial patterns and A/R aging, and tell you what we find — whether or not you work with us.
